‘Have you any idea how difficult it is to find a name for a company that says something about you, and hasn’t already been taken?’

With a need to find a name quickly to be able to invoice for our first project, I challenged a small group of friends who know me to help find a name.  Every name we came up with was already taken.  Someone suggested we look at the Pantone colours for some inspiration as their names can reflect moods and vibes. Then someone said,

‘Well it’s obvious. You’re magenta. Everything you buy is magenta, it’s your favourite colour.’

Done. Company was registered and the rest is history…

When you meet Sarah, you’ll probably want to comment that she is very ‘on brand’, when she turns up with magenta nails, a magenta handbag and purse and reaches for her phone with a magenta cover. The truth is, she is not on brand, but the brand is a reflection of her.
